Shkorpilovci village and Biala. Samotino is surrounded by virgin forest and the sea could be reached either passing through Shkorpilovci or through Biala. The distance both ways is 2 km from the beach. There is a magnificent sea view from the village. Nearby Samotino there is a mineral spring.
The local climate is a unique mixture between the high emperatures of the seaside and the breeze of the forest. Because of its unique sea climate Samotino has attracted many famous people. It was one of the three spots chosen by Italian architects to build up a summer residence for Tzar Alexander Batenberg. Later on during the totalitarian regime in Bulgaria, it became a hunting sea reserve of the head of state and access to the village was denied to the public.
